Sacred

Starting a new story meant for publication always presents challenges but starting one just on the miserly pull of a two-word title can be excruciating. It's something I do often enough though; whether it be a written work or a painting. I'll settle on a title that stirs the demons in me, the words swirl and catch fire in my soul, and a story organizes itself like a Louisiana hurricane.  Agony.

...the agony...and the ecstasy

The title of the story I have begun begins with the word "Sacred...". You take it from there. But if you have any empathy at all you can deduce from that one word that it will be a powerful piece. It will also be a piece with awe inspiring expectation. Thus the pressure, thus the agony...and thus the ecstasy. And..."I will not let thee go, except thou bless me". - WES:::
